Moved a large 4 bedroom 5 minutes down the road last week with the help of Hire a Mover; 4 men, 2 trucks did the job with amazing efficiency and professionalism in about 10 or 11 hours (self-packed). Moving is so stressful but the team at Hire a Mover made the move so easy and seamless, I couldn't be more grateful! Originally I was nervous dealing with removalists having had a bad experience in the past. But the team was early, friendly and immediately put me at ease. All three guys were really careful with our things as we had lots of fragile items like paintings, glass furniture etc... They disassembled all our beds and assembled it on the other side. The team lead communicated clearly what's going to happen, and gave me an accurate time estimate of when the job will be completed. The price is worth it for the efficiency and peace of mind!

Andre and Gaetan were absolutely AMAZING!!! I'd been dreading the move, and have way too much stuff for a one bed flat. I hadn't even finished packing by the time they got there, but wow oh wow, they were helpful, professional, careful, increadably efficient and both with beautiful smiles and an energy that was genuinely considerate. Nothing was too difficult for them, they were really fit, so they managed all carrying with an easy effort and an attitude that matched, so it really was smooth sailing all the way. Thanks to the team at Proficient Removals / Hire a Mover. The move was a bit bigger than the last time we used you guys in 2021, but the experience was smooth. Booking the move was so simple, with Adam calling up post the website enquiry to get the full details. Adam’s recommendation was to use two trucks and four movers, which was spot on for all the stuff that we had. Once the deposit was paid, the job was setup. Joao, Igor, Fernando and Stefano were a great bunch of guys to have moving a house. Very friendly bunch who made the move seamless. The movers arrived promptly, and worked carefully and swiftly. They were even moving goods even though there was some rain. They were attentive, proactive, and were helpful in going the extra mile with little things like taping up some of the boxes, wrapping the tv etc. Hopefully we won’t have to move again soon, but if we do, it will definitely be Hire a Mover / Proficient Removals again.

I cannot rate Hire A Mover - and in particular the team of G, Igor, and Michael - enough. They were careful, considerate, friendly, helpful, and extremely patient with our move which was extended to 11 hours due to a delayed settlement process. If you're planning a move then call these guys (and ask for G, Igor, and Michael). They are superb.

I've used Hire A Mover twice in Sydney Inner-West. In 2021 and now in 2024. Both times I've been so impressed. The best movers I've ever used. All four guys have been friendly, trustworthy, caring and nothing was too much. Both moves were difficult with loads of delicate things, heavy things and long days. Both times the guys couldn't have done anymore. Moving is a pain but these guys make it much easier! Thoroughly recommend.

Quick, efficient, no nonsense small house removal. Used the 2 Men and a Truck service within Adelaide to move the contents of a small home about 40km. Took around 4 hours (we had pre-packed quite a lot). They managed to do it with care to both residences and the contents of the move. They were pleasant and professional, and the static one off fee for arrival/exit is a lot better than the vague "timer starts when we leave the depot and return to the depot" that other movers use. Timer started when they showed up and we paid when they unloaded the last item. I'll be using Hire a Mover in the future.

We had a fantastic experience with Hire a Mover (and hire a box). The two removalists arrived at 8 o'clock on the dot and got straight to work preparing and packing the truck. They were always very clear with communication, clarifying what was and wasn't to be moved and also respecting our items. The house we moved into was freshly painted and there wasn't a mark left on the walls, which was particularly impressive given the narrow hall and some large and heavy pieces of furniture. I couldn't believe how quickly they were able to unpack especially as the day heated up. We're not planning on moving again for a long time, but I will gladly recommend Hire a Mover to family and friends.
